  • ½ Normal Size Banana.
  • 2 Table Spoon Regular Yogurt.

Procedure

The first step starts with mashing the banana until you will not see any chunks. You can use any plain thing or bowl to mash the banana. When the first step is complete, add two tablespoons of yogurt and mix it properly.

Note: Don’t refrigerate this recipe, and serve it immediately to your baby. Moreover, this recipe is for more than 6 months of age.

2. Yogurt Rice Recipe for Babies.


Ingredients:

  • ½ tablespoon of rice.
  • 1/3 cup of regular Yogurt.
  • A ½ cup of water.

Procedure

First of all wash the rice put it into the saucepan and add a ½ cup of water. Turn on the flame to high, and wait for the water to boil. When the water boils, reduce the flame to low and wait for 20 minutes. When the rice properly cooked, leave it to cool down.

When the rice cools down, add 1/3 cup of regular yogurt in a bowl and add the boiled rice in it. Now, use a hand blender, and blend it until it becomes plain so, your baby could easily digest it.

3. Yogurt Oats Khichdi (Asian Style) Recipe For babies.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon of Clarified Butter (Ghee).
  • Smaller size Mustard Seeds.
  • Asafetida (for smell).
  • ½ teaspoon of cumin.
  • 5 to 10 Curry Leaves.
  • 1 grated Carrot.
  • A ¼ cup of oats.
  • 1 cup of water.
  • ½ or 1 cup of yogurt.

According to your need, you can reduce the quantity of the ingredients.

Procedure

Take a saucepan, add 2 teaspoons of clarified butter, mustard seeds, and wait for the butter to hot. Add a ½ teaspoon of cumin, 5 odd size cumin leaves, grated carrot, mix the ingredients well and cook it for 2 minutes. After two minutes, add a ¼ cup of oats, mix well, and again cook it for 2 minutes.

After two minutes, add 1 cup of water, stir and cooked it until you get a mushy texture. When the process is done, turn off the flame and leave it for cooling down. When the mixture cools down, add the yogurt, mix it properly, and serve.

Note: After trying this recipe, if you feel any thickness, you can add more water.

4. Sweet Potato, Apple and Yogurt Recipe.

Ingredients:

  • A ½ cup of Peeled Apple.
  • A ½ cup of sweet potato.
  • Yogurt (According to your need).
  • Water (According to your need).

Peel the potato and cut it into small chunks. Take a saucepan, add some water and use anything on which you can put the chunks of apple and potato. On the flame to normal, and steam the ingredients until it properly gets tender.

When you feel the ingredients are properly cooked transform it into a food processor, and blend the ingredients until you feel a plain mixture. Add the yogurt, blend it for a few minutes, and serve.

12. Banana Yogurt Melts Recipe for Babies

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Chopped banana.
  • 1 cup of regular Yogurt.
  • Ziploc Bag.

Procedure

Add the chopped banana and yogurt in a food processor, and blend it until you get a plain texture. You can also blend the banana first, add it with yogurt, and mix it together. Now, pour the ingredients in a Ziploc bag, and cut it from the edge for a hole.

Now, take a wax paper or something else you use for baking and slowly press the Ziploc bag to give a proper shape to the mixture. When the process completes, freeze it for around 30 minutes, and serve.

16. Coriander and Rice Yogurt Recipe for Babies

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tablespoon of Chopped Coriander.
  • 4 Tablespoon of Yogurt.

  • ¼ teaspoon of Cumin Seeds.
  • A ¾ cup of water.

Procedure

The first step starts with cooking the rice so, you have to put the mixing bowl on the flame, add a ½ teaspoon of Purified butter, and let it heat. After that, add a ¼ teaspoon of cumin seeds, and let them crackle. When the cumin seed crackles, add the drained rice in it and cook it for 2 minutes.

After two minutes of cooking, add a ¾ cup of water, cover it with a lid, and leave it until the rice gets mushy and all the water gets evaporated.

  • ½ Cup pumpkin.
  • A ¼ cup of yogurt.
  • 2 to 3 normal size prunes.

Remove the seeds from the pumpkin, peel its skin, and cut it down into small chunks. Take a saucepan, add water, use steam basket so you can place the pumpkin on it, cover the saucepan with a lid, and turn on the flame to normal.

Steam the pumpkin until it gets tender. Meanwhile, place prunes in a small bowl and cover it with very hot water. This will make it plump, and it becomes tender. Now, add all the ingredients along with yogurt in a food processor, and blend it until the mixture becomes smooth, and serve.

Note: You can refrigerate this food, and it will increase its usability for up to 4 days.

20. Cantaloupe, Banana, and Chia Seeds Yogurt Recipe for Babies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Chopped Cantaloupe.
  • 1 Normal Size Banana.

Procedure

Add all the ingredients in a food processor, and blend it until the mixture gives you a smooth texture, and serve.

Note: Don’t try to over blend the ingredients because cantaloupe has a lot of water naturally in it, and it can ruin your recipe.
